14 Expenses to Cut if You Want to Save More Money

We usually spend a lot of money on items and services that at the end of the day don't add value to our lives. We’re basically just throwing away money that would be much needed for that dream vacation in Tahiti.
So, these are some expenses I removed from my budget where you can also start saving money.
- Phone insurance — They don’t break and it costs the same as a new one;
- Vegetables — I grow them at home now;
- Pets — I have two dogs, but I only pay for vet and food. Forget the toys;
- Storage units — I am a minimalist, so I don't have that much stuff;
- Expensive sunglasses — Luxottica owns the market, they’re all the same;
- Seasonal Decoration — One single tree that lasts almost 12 years now;
- New car — Get a used one, it costs half the price and does the job;
- Food delivery — I can cook;
- Bottled water — Capitalism much? Just get a filter;
- Sales and coupons — Usually leads to impulse buying;
- New books —Used to. Now I just look for the local library;
- Invest in fossil fuels — I invest in renewable energies;
- Invest in tobacco companies — I have asthma;
- Brands and labels — I just look for the cheapest option.
