Besides vices such as smoking and drinking, there are a few habits you might be doing that slowly but surely hinder your mental health.

You should always be aware of yourself and your surroundings so you don’t end up self-destructing.

So avoid these, if you will.

Staying Quiet

You should often speak your mind in a respectful manner.

If you keep everything to yourself, you’re disregarding your feelings as if they aren’t important.

Trust your peers and they’ll surely help you deal with your struggles.

Isolating Yourself

Keeping yourself away from any social interaction drastically depletes your mood.

Standing alone with your own thoughts worsens how you feel and can even descent you to depression.

Not Moving

Living without exercise, stretching, walking, or any sort of movement can increase your sadness.

Go walk outside for 10 minutes a day to be more connected with your body.

Not Caring

When you stop forming your own opinion you’re giving control away.

You should never disregard what’s happening in your life, otherwise, other people might take advantage of your numbness.

Take control of your life and live it as you please.
